2006 Nissan Micra indicator lights flashing too fast.

HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR BULBS AS SOMETIMES WHEN A BULB BLOWS IT WILL MAKE THE OTHERS FLASH FASTER.

you could have a bad earth connection

You can try other posters suggestions . But if still not fixed , I am almost sure that the indicators and many other electrical functions and circuits are covered by a BCM (BODY CONTROL UNIT )

I'm pretty sure that you will find the flasher unit underneath the steering wheel (no need to remove the fuse box cover.)

Stick your hand underneath the steering wheel and you will find a cable cover about an inch in diameter, follow this behind the dashboard and you will feel a flat metal bar sticking out, on the end of which is the flasher unit.

You may need to bend the metal bar a bit, (or remove the fuse box and the top left relay to gain access to the top of the unit), and a thin metal screwdriver will fit in the "notch" of the metal.

Ultimately its very easy to do, just a bit fiddly. (but on a scale of 1 to 10 I would say its a 1.5!!!)

I solved the problem by adding a Load Resistor [from Ultra Leds U.K.] to the positive and negative wires going to each of the front indicator bulbs.

I have to change my relay but in the fuse box there is 2 and I am unsure which is indicator relay??
