2003 Nissan Micra headlight and r/h indicator staying on all the time

I could not get into the car. I replaced the key fob battery. I still could not enter the car. I then realised the main car battery was completely flat. I recharged the battery when I Reconnected the cables the side lights and head lights and the r/h side indicator we came on and I cannot switch them off. the control stalk position makes no difference the car runs and drives ok. Any ideas ?
