Water leak onto front floors

Hi,my nissan micra has started to leak water onto the front floor pans, soaking the carpets and bulkhead felt behind the pedals. I have tried sealing the bottom windscreen seal with a silicone sealant but unfortunately it still leaks when rains. It is frustrating because without being very thorough i cannot see any holes underneath.Have you any suggestions on what i can do?

Had this problem once,it was bad,my carpets used to get socked and smelly,no one could find it,then one day I found it,all it was was a rubber gromit had popped out with a cable in it,when a cable goes from under your bonnet and through your bulk head it passes through a gromit that is pressed in to the hole,so no water can get passed,have a good look,up and down to see if you have the same problem,good luck
