2004 Nissan Micra complete loss of electrics

Car: Nissan Micra
Year: 2004
Variant: 1.0S
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Just starting to move off in the car and I lost all power and electrics. No lights, no turnover and can't even lock the doors! Battery contacts seem fine but I'm not too sure about the fuses. The handbook is rubbish!

If you have no electrics , double check battery and all earth cables . If not that try jump start . You can get problems with ignition switch also , try jiggling key .

Tried all the battery and earth leads and they are all ok. I don't see why the ignition switch would cause all these problems, I have no 4-way flashers and can't even lock the doors! Help please!!

I have discovered that the car has some master fuses that are connected directly to the positive battery terminal. One of these has blown but no idea why!
