car wont start unless u hold key as far to right as poss and rev..eventually it starts..is it ignition switch or barrel dont know much about cars

Can you feel play in the ignition barrel when the key is inserted if you can it,s possibly a worn key or ignition lock. If you can not then it,s possibly the electical switch at the end of the assembly,you will have to remove it and check it.

If not ignition switch ,cold starting problems on that car can be caused by faulty engine coolant temp sensor.

thanx is deffo ignition switch..took it apart and found loose wires! hav ordered new 2 b safe! actually learnin about my car!
