2001 Nissan Micra nissan wont start

You will have to see if your are getting spark , fuel , compession first .

take one ht lead off and take out or get any decent sparkplug insert into end of ht lead hold against top of metal part of engine DONT touch end of plug hold by top of lead get someone to turn igniton key to start position while engine is turning over have you got a nice blue spark at plug ? if yes ignition system is ok if not you may have distributor problem prone to failure on this engine, ihad this recently on a micra replaced distributor drive all worked fine, do the test first for spark

when trying to isolate faults find out is it fuel system or ignition system fault or even both !! be aware micra injection system is pressurised to depressurise go to fuse box (drivers side lower right) locate fuel pump fuse remove and crank engine this will release pressure in system and then it is safe to remove hoses etc
