2003 Nissan Almera speed @ accelleration in motion

Car: Nissan Almera
Year: 2003
Variant: SVE1.5
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY ALMERA FOR A FEW DAYS NOW . WHEN SITTING STILL THE ENGINE CAN BE REVVED TO THE MAXIMUM ALLOWED.BUT WHEN I MOVE AWAY IN FIRST GEAR IT WILL NOT REV ABOVE 2000 REVS, AND WHEN ON THE MOTORWAY IT WILL NOT GO ANY FASTER THAN 60MPH WITH MY FOOT TO THE FLOOR . WHEN USING THE DIAGNOSTIC IT SHOWS NO FAULTS.PLEASE ADVISE.

I'd suspect a blocked or collapsed cat, does the cat glow or seem hotter after the M way run?
or a failing fuel pump, either way it needs some real mechanic, not someone who knows where the diagnostic socket is
