when using the car the other night i could hear a noise from the engine which increased/decreased with revs. thought of the cam belt straight away but now the truck is misfiring. anyone had any similar problems with 55'plate truck???

check injectors are all working and cylinder compressions are ok as headgasket could be knackered,is the ems light on,any fault codes stored etc?does the misfire happen throughout the rev range or is at certain engine speed or under certain temp conditions?
