Full lock turning problem

hi.. i've just purchased a mitsubishi l200 & when i turn it on full lock it seems like the brakes are being pressed & it struggles to go forward. i have it set in 4 wheel drive. its the 1st time i've driven it, so is this normal or do i have a problem??? many thanx stu white

is it ok when in 2wd mode?if so then you could have a knackered front diff.also worth checking that the wheels are not touching the arches or body,put it on full lock and check visually

i also have a 05 l200 but the problem i have is that it has a great lock on a left hand lock but its very poor on a right hand lock i know that it has had a lower arm on the o/s and the threads on the track rod ends are equal on both sides and the steering wheel is straight when driving,any suggestions?
