2005 Mitsubishi L200 lack of excelaration

ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, GARAGE TELLS ME NEED TO CHANGE BOOST CENSOR AT £150. WONT TELL ME WHICH ONE TO CHANGE SO CAN ANY ONE TELL ME IF THERE IS A WAY TO FIND OUT WHICH ONE?
gOES FINE NORMALLY BUT VERY SLUGGISH ON ECCELARATION.

Before you have the sensor replaced just check that the sensor has not just become disconnected.

The sensor should be on the passenger side of the engine it about the size of a domino with an electrical connection and a air pipe that goes to the manifold (about 120mm).

We found that the pipe had come away from the manifold thus giving the impression that the sensor was at fault.
