2003 Mitsubishi L200 wont rev and smokes

was driving it then all ov a sudden no power so pulled over turned it off then back on started no problem but wont rev and when your trying to rev it loads ov black smoke come out

sounds like egr or possible turbo fault.check all vacuum pipes to solenoids etc
