2007 Mitsubishi L200 when in 4h jeep will not move

Is there something engages in the gearbox when the ignition is on? I was switching off the engine to reset the limp mode while moving and made a noise like a clutch slipping now the jeep will not move in 4h, just attempts to go with clutch out

Not recommended what you done , screwed something up .Needs scanned with proper equipment that will cover all systems , modules , transmission for fault codes

Thanks but pretty useless information for someone trying to fix it, I’m more interested in what may have happened. I’ve since tried it with the handbrake on and see the problem is in the front diff housing somewhere as the front prop is turning
