2019 Mitsubishi L200 touch screen keeps cycling between start screen and the 'off' screen

The touch screen keeps cycling between start screen and switching off. It starts with the black background and red Mitsubishi logo, the fades to a grey screen with a blue Mitsubishi logo and onto a complete black screen, before switching off - the whole cycle repeats over and over again (with a cycle taking about 1 minute to complete).
The icons (menu, app, volume icons) are lit up during the first three cycles, but are not illuminated when the screen switches off (understandably).
I can't use any of the icons (volume, menu, home or app icons). I can hear music through the radio when the screen is on, and the picture from the reversing camera still works too.

Is the same vehicle in the earlier post below ? Because of year , should be usually covered by warranty or possibly software available to rectify if a known common fault .
