Engine problem

2008 Mitsubishi L200 2.5 DI-D KB4T
Car: Mitsubishi L200
Year: 2008
Variant: 2.5 DI-D KB4T
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Few months ago my Mitsubishi L200, 4x4 pick up, 2.5 engine snapped the timing belt after replacing it the car seems to be having more problems. It has no power, it’s spewing black smoke, hesitate when shifting to higher gear and over heats when climbing small hill or driving slow.

The car start 100%, and idling is not right. It goes up and down.

Could be the pump timing is not quite right or other issue from snapped belt ,would check timing and compression check first of all ,assuming other maintenance items have been done
