Smoking and miss fire

car starts first time miss fires slightly and grey smokes when it starts to warm up it miss fires worse and starts banging and rattling and no power i have put a new EGR valve on and this is no help and i have no EML light on or any other light on dash

Check coolant level . If low carry out a block test to check cyl head / gasket . Change fuel filter if not been done recently .
