Get the wiring for the trailer socket checked.

Thanks for answers ,it was a blown reversing light fuse ,That fuse powers auto gearbox as well .

Fuses blow for a reason,
check and clean the internal bulb connections for the reversing light.

might be an idea to check the trailer lights themselves especially earth
