2007 Mitsubishi L200 gear selection

Difficulty in selecting gears when manoeuvring ie parking or reversing trailer. No problem when driving normally. It seems to get progressively worse the more gear changes I need to make. It goes from sticky to almost total resistance.

Suggest changing the gearbox oil,
Though it could also be the clutch dragging.
Oil first,
And do the transfer box oi as well.l

The garage changed the gearbox oil last week but the problem persists. Not sure if they did the oil in the transfer box. I will ask. Clutch changed last May. Will check it out.
