My truck keeps slipping into 4wd whilst driving .
If you push 4wd lever forward and back to 2wd it goes bk to normal for a little while then problem goes again.

Check the vacuum servo unit,
follow the 6mm black pipes from the solenoids on the drivers side front chassis leg,
just about beneath the brake servo,
from there other black 6mm pipe runs to the 4wd servo actuator which is mounted on top of the front diff.
pipes can fail but it sounds like you have a faulty servo actuator.
