2004 Mitsubishi L200 window wipers

My wipers have decided to only work on very fast. They will not work on intermittent or normal speed. When I switch the wipers off they stop anywhere on the screen and not on the bottom of the screen unless i get it right on the guessing when to turn off. I can only get water on the screen when on very fast too. I am assuming it is not the motor as the wipers work on very fast so is it the linkage needing sorting? Thanks

If they are not self parking , could be an internal fault on wiper motor trip . If not that , sounds like the fault with washers may be wiper stalk and possibly related also .
