2002 Mitsubishi L200 engine gets hot

Car: Mitsubishi L200
Year: 2002

engine gets hot when driving over 120 KMh speed and also when it meets any resistance like sand or something.

is there anything i can do about it?

Engine Cooling problem
2002 Mitsubishi L200 4 cyl four Wheel Drive Manual 115000 miles

colt 2.4 ldv engine running hot on the road.In town it is fine.

First astablish if the head gasket is in good condition, then check water pump functioning, ie impellor droped off, thermostat ok, or could just the radiator has poor flow through it
