2001 Mitsubishi L200 4 wheel drive light on and flashing

the 4 wheel drive is always on and flashing when driving.i have lifted the car up at one garage and tested if all the wheels are scrolling at the same pace but the right front wheel is not.so it seems when driving there is a sound coming out of it so may be its the force of driving that will be causing it to move.Also when driving in gear number 5 the car will be have as if you are driving in gear number 2 so i dont know whats the problem

If its an L200 they do have there faults. I had one!
Look at all the vacuum pipes going around the 4wd system, especially to front diff.
The L200 owners club forum is a wealth of knowledge with these vehicles.
