2002 Mini One power loss when cold

Car: Mini One
Year: 2002
Variant: 1.6
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
my wife bought this car 3 weeks ago. 93000 miles on clock. the car starts fine in the morning with no misfire, but when pulling off from standstill the car loses power and almost stalls.you have to keep revs up to get moving. been back to garage and was put on diagnostics but no fault was found.plugs were changed, but problem still there. car is ok when heated up , but is a bit hesitant before fully heated
Any ideas?

diagnostics are usualy carried out with the engine at normal opperating temp, that all being good proves your engine is fine.

so the problem lerks in the fuel injection cold starting system. the fix is.....

adjustment, or electrical test while engine is cold. which ever, its a small problem to fix.
