2004 Mini Cooper S passenger and driver windows going down.

When i lock the car and leave it for a short time i return to find both the drivers window and the passenger windows are half way open. This has happend to me about 6 times now.I have tried the fues box but conot think nwhat could be causing this problem.Th windows both go down at the same time.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this to happen most likely electrical.

Lots of modern cars have a feature that opens both windows when you press and hold the remote lock/unlock buttons.
Does it happen every time? Are the doors also unlocked?
It sounds dumb but you might be somehow pressing and holding the button down in your pocket whilst near the car causing it to happen.
Sorry if that sounds too obvious but I'm always opening my car's boot/bonnet from the over-sensitive key remote.

The idea of catching the unlock/lock button could be the problem but unusual if it's only just starting to happen and you've had car for a while - defo worth checking first. It sounds like something electronic is energising the system causing the windows to drop. Could be worth speaking to local BMW/Mini garage about it to see if it has happened to another customer. I have a Mini with electric windows but never had the fault.
