Microcar M.GO-3 drive belt loose and engine won't start

i drove through a pothole at low speed and engine cut out,when i checked the drive belt has become very loose and car will not start,cannot see if something has broken.

If belt loose no wonder it wont start , Needs new belt fitted and set up correctly

many thanks for your response,i believe the adjuster must have broke,as belt only a few weeks ago was replaced with brand new one.

`Take back to whoever replaced the belt for fixing under warranty , should have lasted a lot mopre than a few weeks
