For the rear wiper ,check the wiring where it enters the hatchback.
Open the hatchback, and at the top next to the hinge is a rubber shroud covering the wiring loom. Pull the rubber out of the hatchback or car body and check the wiring. It is a known problem area for wires breaking . With the front wiper disconnect the wiring plug at the motor and see if it blows fuse , if it blows then you have a wiring fault. If the fuse doesn't blow the motor is probably faulty .Could also check wiper linkage / wheel boxes are free .
