i replaced my engine and had it running
but negative battery wire broke i rubbed
it on body to restart car which worked then car
cut out now will not start any solutions will be o f great help

also car is on ramps would it b that car thinks it being towed confusing the mercury switch

Not sure what you mean by " i rubbed
it on body " .You must have a permanent earth from engine / gearbox to body .
