hi , my MG has an electrical problem and i dont know where to start about getting it fixed or where to take it. basically the interior light doesnt work and when you use the interior light switch the clock inside car re sets itself and the cd player goes off and also when you open the boot the same happens or the door when the interior light is set to on. i really dont know where i can get this problem fixed or how much it is going to cost if someone could help that would be great thanks sarah

sorry i forgot to add also the hazard lights turn the cd player off aswell thanks

Take the vehicle to an auto electrician, it sounds like a problem with the permanent live circuit, I take it the cd player works without the ignition switched on?
The hazard lights, interior lights etc are usually all wired into the same circuit.
Any competent auto electrician will be able to check out the circuits and components and repair.

yes the cd player still works when ignition isnt on. i live in west midlands do u know of any auto electricians in that area? as i havent got a clue where 2 go about finding one.
