my mg zr started making a funny clicking noise when tryin to start it i bumped started it and it was running fine for a few weeks untill it happened again and now its every over week its happening. battery tested and its ok... could it starter motor??..

Sounds like starter motor solenoid clicking . Check all wiring / connections at starter and all earth wires also .

if it is the wires will i still need a new starter motor??.

No . If not wiring fault etc . could get starter tested .
