2015 MG MG6 hill hold function sticking on after being parked up overnight

After being parked up over night the brakes seem to stick on. I'm parked on a sloping driveway and I have to sit there for about 3/4 minutes before the brakes release themselves. It's definitely not sticking calipers I think it is the hill-hold function sticking...any advise ?

Try leaving the hill-hold function switched off ?
