my mercedes c180 1.8 auto will start and idle fine but splutters when revved the problem comes and goes and can happen hot or cold.it drives fine when it clears,ihave changed the fuel filter to no effect.

Checked plugs and leads ?

check injectors for when is under load, fuel filter also,low fuel pressure ,check it out proffessionally

I also have the same car 2004 C180 Kompressor 1.8 auto, which barely idles, & the car shakes & quite a few times has cut out / stalled .This happens when the car's stopped & other times, when the car is moving slowly. Like in a queue of traffic or while trying to park the car. Can someone please help me?.
