2002 Mercedes Benz C Class srs warning light

In late feb/early march during the big freeze, I switched on my ignition and all the warning lights in the world lit up including those i never knew existed.I instantly turned off the ignition and started again after about 2 minutes, but then all went out but the SRS light stayed on. I have tried getting it switched off at independent garages but the fault code comes up unknown. Any ideas please?

Check all the connectors under front seats .Adjusting seats can cause probs with wiring / connections .
