Air Flow Meter

1997 Mercedes Benz C Class 180

We have had to buy yet another air flow meter for our car this week (this is the 4th one in about 5 years). It was fitted on Monday and the car has been fine since then but today no fuel can get through. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it? My husband has take the disconnected the air flow meter but this hasn't really made any difference and he's just told me that he's cleaned some throttle thing (sorry - not very technical I know!). We're getting desparate now as the car is needed for work tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

you need to get the car properly diagnosed there is no way you should be using this many air flow meters we have had lots of problems with sensors on this model of merc and the only way to fix them is to put them on our diagnostics and monitor the outputs it may cost you short term but will save long term
