2000 Mercedes Benz C Class loss of power

Loss of power when driving. Acceleration limited to about 40mph but revs can rise. No warning lights.
Switch engine off and then back on then its fine.
Have replaced air filter, plugs, leads, coils, lambda sensor, throttle body, timing chain and tensioners.
With engine running disconnection of MAF the engine stutters, idle position sensor ok and no splits in hoses.

when your car is not in gear, and you press the gas pedal, does the engine rev up as it should do? if it does continue with the following tests. if it is slow to rev up, or has dead spots, when you need a merc diagnostic computer to find the problem.
get the engine hot to normal temp, then put the car in low gear, accerate at maximum until you reach max safe revs. you will need the right road for this. take your foot off, allow the car to slow down on its own, then repeat the process. does the car re-accelarate the same both times? or does the car accerate better the second time????? if it accerates better the second time, seems to me, your car needs a little hard driving to clean of the carbon, and allow the management system time to relearn. if it doesnt accerate properly, then sorry a computer test is necessary.

hi im havin troubles with loss of power on my 53 plate cdi c200 AUTO. the car runs fine until it changes to 5th gear then the car starts slowin down and wont have a kick til it slows down to 20-30mph, but will not gain power unless you stop-start... any help would be greatly appreciated (pint included)
