Key fob won't open or power my car

My key fob would not open my car so I used emergency metal slide out key to enter vehicle.. when I put my key fob into ignition it would not turn at all and there is no power in the car no lights on dash no interior lights absolutly nothing?

Try a jump start , may be a dud battery .
