I have had the water pump renewed recently because I kept getting the water coolant light informing me to top up water. after less than 4 days I am still losing water. the header tank gets really hot after driving for 15 minutes.

You need to get a coolant system pressure test carried out which should show any external leaks .If nothing showing , a block test will show any internal leaks . Might be worthwhile testing thermostat also in case of sticking .
