Full Beam Indicator not lighting

Hello,
I have an annoying issue with my full beam lights. Perhaps others may have experienced this too.
When the ignition is turned on all the dash lights illuminate, including the blue full beam indicator light. Yet when the engine is running and the full beam is on, there is no blue light to indicate that the lights are on full beam.. which they are.
I have already checked the bulb and obviously it is fine as it is lighting when the ignition is on. So does anybody know if there is a relay that may have gone a miss or something?
