I have c class 2,1diesel when start in the morning it's clicking or I can say make silly noice only for about 5 second after normal any help please?

Is the noise coming from the engine ? If so , when was the engine oil and filter last changed ? also fuel filter ?

yes its coming from top engin and there is no light on the dash and no problem driving,i have just change oil and oil filter yesterday i bought Mercedes brand oil its still same i ask the local guy he said it maybe time chain,

May well be until oil gets up to tensioner .Timing chains don't usually pose a problem on Mercs unless a very high mileage .
