2000 Mercedes Benz C Class car will not start and then sometimes does

Three weeks ago I parked my car outside my house as normal. When I went to use it again, I put the key in the ignition it turned all the way but did not start, all the lights and stereo are working fine. On the off-chance I tried again a week later and it worked. Now I try everyday and randomly it will start or won't!

Sounds like an intermittant power issue which will require you or your mechanic to check for power at the starter motor when the fault is happening.Is it an auto-matic,as you could try moving the gear selector to see if its the cause.

Any news on your problem? My C Class does the same, quite weird as no-one can sort it and then it works again with no intervention. Would be really interested to heasr if yours sorted itself, you got it fixed or if you got rid of it.
