2003 Kia Sportage heated rear window not working

Keeps blowing the fuse i have checked the switch and relay they are ok i dissconected the 2 wires from the screen element and it still blew the fuse. is there some kind of transformer somewhere if so where is it?

Sounds like broken wire possibly shorting . Not sure of that car , but if wiring passes through rubber / wiring harness into tailgate would check there first .
