Kia Rio removing steering colum

hi just about got steering colum off to replace the eps moter just wanted to know if you have advice should i revove bolt from bottom of the steering colum down by footwell there on bolt where ads on or should i take from middle of steering colum bols harder to get from middle but can get to it just not sure whats best way to do its all unplugged unbolted just wasent sure what oneto unscrew when i look on ebay dor steering colums they have for sale with the steering colum being unscrewed from middle of colum reason why i ask or doesit matter thanks in advance
