2008 Jaguar X-Type gearbox fault

Driving on dual carriage way gearbox fault comes up and engine warning light flashes. Stopped and checked (no info in manual) restarted travelled about 5 miles and gearbox fault appears and engine fault light flashing. Car is running smoothly and gear changes appear to be okay.

think your best bet is to have a diagnostic check carried out at jaguar dealer or jag specialist could be a faulty sensor
