2002 Jaguar X-Type bonnet cable

my bonnet opens fine, but i have to tweek the cable under the catch on the passenger side to be able to close it, can the cable be adjusted?

Try lubricating the catches under the bonnet first...

On the catch, it maybe best to use grease. On the cable, use WD40. Hope this helps...
