2001 Jaguar S-Type rattle when started from cold

When I start my car first thing in the morning and from cold start. I get a loud rattle noise that sounds like nuts & bolts turning in a tin can for around 2-3 mins and then it goes. This does not happen when I start the car during the day warm only when first started and from cold start.

i would see if it has the right oil would recommend some gtx magnetex so it keeps lubricant at the top end.

this is bassed on the ford v 6 lump, but have jaguar camchain tensioners, which fail on top end. Reconmend you get your local garagr or jag to have a luck as if it is that and goes altogether, it can scrap the engine.
