Breakdiscs and pads needed changing at 23000, also the v belt

2017 Hyundai i10 1.2
Car: Hyundai i10
Year: 2017
Variant: 1.2
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I am a careful driver, but at only 23,000 miles the front breakpads and discs were knackered, also the v belt was frayed and needed changing.

I can understand the pads needing replaced , but the discs usually do not need replacing at that mileage unless there is bad wear or other reasons to do so . On high performance cars it is normal to replace both . The belt seems strange at that mileage and the reason for fraying would be a concern
