2003 Ford Streetka luggage compartment (boot) will not open with key

My Luggage Compartment will not open when I press the button on my key. I have replaced thebattery in thekey and also checked other electrics such as the hood storage compartment and these are all fine.

Has anyone got any suggestions why this might not be working/what I can do please??

sounds like its just frozen get some lock de-icer and see how you go from there

suspect the key fob at fault , does the interior boot relese work??

hi i was wondering if you could help me. i just bought a 2003 streetka and i have found that it has the same problem yours did, boot doesnt open with fob. did you happen to get the solution to your problem. thanks, lynn.
