2007 Ford S-Max full beam or dipped headlights switch on by itself while car is parked and locked. also full beam or dipped headlights switch on while being driven with light unable to control it

Full beam or dipped headlights switch on by itself while car is parked and locked. Also full beam or dipped headlights switch on while being driven with light unable to control it. Sometimes it switches on when parked a drains battery. When driving Full beam come on and dazzle other divers and no way to switch off except to pull the fuse. Disconnected battery several times over night but makes no difference.

Check battery earth to body and ,if fitted , earth from power unit to body also . Could also check for water intrusion on BCM . If fitted with auto headlights , check sensor .
