Tailgate warning shows it's open when it's not, comes on when driving.

When the tailgate is locked the sensor intermittently comes on to say its unlocked, if I press ok the oil service message comes on.

Check wiring at top where it passes into boot / tailgate or faulty lock or water ingress on same .
