my car stopped running as i was driving along the road. took the pipe of from the carbs and not much fuel coming through the hose. is this my fuel pump thats away

it sounds fuel pump related,best to get a diagnostic done really.does the fuel pump operate when you switch ignition on,should come on for a few seconds.would suggest checking fuel lines for restrictions,if the pump is not operating check you have live and earth to it and if not you will need to trace wiring back to ecm

i think i would look at fuses first
