light comes on when you sometimes push the brakes. Have had it looked at by 2 different mechanics and all diagnostics are clear.. could it be a diesel filter issue?

Wont go wrong changing the fuel filter as it's a service item anyway . But also check your brake lights are working and with the sidelights on also
