2003 Ford KA speedo,radio and radiator fan not working but fuses appear to be ok

changed alternator on car but when connecting jump leads to start car accidentally crossed leads for a couple of seconds and then had no dash symbles . so replaced 3 amp fuse in car and car started immediately but when test driving i had no speedo or radio and the car bacame hot inside so i am assuming that the fan on the rad isnt working .dont know what to check now can anyone help.

Are you sure you have checked all the fuses?
I cant remeber what my 2003 Ka was like but i have a feeling it had 2 fuse boxes like the old fiesta, one under the bonnet and the one that pulls out of the drivers side of dashboard.

i have only found the fuse box on the drivers side under the dash and two fuses immediately next to the battery connection but they all seem ok
